Since 1999, the American Society of Neuroimaging (ASN) has sponsored seminars in MRI neuroimaging and Cerebrovascular Ultrasound. These are intensive course for practitioners and trainees, who would like to update their knowledge on the role of MRI or Neurosonology in neurology, improve interpretation skills, prepare for Neurosonology Certification Examinations or to obtain Category-I CME credits.
Highly successful seminars have been held across the country in various sites such as Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio (supported by MRI Central and MRI Management), West Palm Beach, Naples, Jacksonville, St. Petersburg, New York, Chicago, and Philadelphia (supported by Medical Resources), New York City (supported by USDL), Boston (supported by The MRI Centers of New England), Indianapolis (supported by Alliance Imaging), and Buffalo (supported by Physicians Imaging Centers). Attendees were exposed to didactic and interactive presentations on head and spinal imaging.
ONGOING SEMINAR OPPORTUNITIES
ASN-Sponsored Neuroimaging Fellowship Educational Rounds, organized by Dr. Eric Lindzen, are scheduled for Friday at noon, Eastern Daylight Time.
Through webinar, they are available to all Neuroimaging fellows and faculty.
Case presentations, discussions and questions by members of the audience are encouraged in this live format. Following the didactic portion, which comprises the first half of the 60 minute conference, there is time reserved for presentation and informal group discussion of imaging cases contributed by members of the audience.
