Dr. John Bohdan Chawluk is a distinguished clinical neurologist whose career spans decades of contributions to neuroimaging, patient care, and the broader neurosciences. He currently practices at the Fleming Neuroscience Institute at Jefferson Medical, where he brings deep expertise in adult neurology and advanced imaging to the care of patients with complex neurologic conditions.
Dr. Chawluk’s academic path reflects a lifelong commitment to both science and the arts. He earned an A.B. in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University before completing his medical degree at Johns Hopkins University. He went on to train in neurology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he also completed a fellowship in neuroimaging. He is board certified in adult neurology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology (FAAN).
