UCNS‑accredited programs meet the rigorous standards of graduate medical education established by the UCNS and the subspecialty experts who define each UCNS‑recognized field. Through a peer‑reviewed accreditation process overseen by the Accreditation Council, fellowship programs demonstrate full compliance with curriculum and training requirements. Graduates of UCNS‑accredited programs are eligible to apply for UCNS certification examinations.
