Dr. Joseph V. Fritz is a seasoned leader in neuroimaging, medical management, and healthcare innovation, with more than three decades of experience spanning clinical practice, research, and organizational strategy.


A partner at NeuroNetPro LLC in Buffalo, New York, he now focuses on strengthening collaboration and resource‑sharing among private neurology practices nationwide. His work supports physician‑directed outpatient care models that enhance access, efficiency, and long‑term sustainability in neurological medicine.


Dr. Fritz earned his PhD in neuroimaging and is a Certified Medical Practice Executive, bringing together scientific expertise and operational insight in a way that has shaped his entire career. He served as CEO of the Dent Neurologic Institute until his retirement in 2023, helping guide its growth into one of the largest and most comprehensive outpatient neurology centers in the United States. His leadership has been recognized through honors such as the 2019 Buffalo Business First C‑Level Award.


A dedicated advocate for the field of neuroimaging, Dr. Fritz served as President of the American Society of Neuroimaging from 2023 to 2024 and continues to contribute as a board member. His influence extends across multiple organizations, including service on the Board of Directors of the Buffalo Center for Health Equity and the Advisory Council for Neurodiscovery AI. Over his 16 years of active involvement with the American Academy of Neurology, he held numerous leadership roles, including Vice‑Chair of the Axon Registry Committee, Chair of the Business Section, Co‑Chair of the APP Workgroup, and membership on several key committees focused on practice management, medical economics, imaging, and health services research.


Dr. Fritz remains deeply engaged in consulting for both nonprofit and industry partners, advising medical equipment manufacturers, data science companies, and organizations dedicated to improving healthcare access.
