Dr. Kim is Professor of Neurology and Medical Education and Covenant Health System Endowed Chair in Cerebrovascular Disease at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC). He launched an ultrasound program at TTUHSC in 2011, and secured an educational grant to expand and integrate a Longitudinal Curriculum of Ultrasound into Medical Education (LCUME). He successfully led the 4th World Congress on Ultrasound in Medical Education hosted by TTUHSC in 2016. He has been serving for Society of Ultrasound in Medical Education as a board member. As an avid advocate of medical ultrasound, he has been actively implementing LCUME and simulation into the medical curriculum, while also teaching Neurosonology. |
