Richard Genova, BA, RVT, NVS, RPhS  is a registered vascular technologist (ARDMS) and a volunteer social media ambassador for the American Society of Neuroimaging. Richard also serves on the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission’s Vascular Testing Board of Directors as a representative of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) and the ASN. Currently, Mr. Genova is the Neurovascular Lab Technical Director at Weill Cornell Medicine | NY Presbyterian Hospital. He is a certified ultrasound investigator for registered clinical trials and an educator to vascular neurology fellows seeking neurovascular credentialing. He graduated from Brandeis University with a BA and received his vascular technology training certificate from Long Island University’s School of Professional Studies. Richard is also credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentialing International as a Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS) and by the ASN as a Neurovascular Specialist (NVS).
